Give Till it Hurts

Some people probably hurt this morning after their efforts in walking for Sports Relief. I find it interesting that so much more money has been donated this year than the last Sports Relief two years ago. What has changed? - Peoples experience - more of us have had to tighten our financial belts and can appreciate better the difficulty of others.
Some people shout and blame God for all sorts of things in life saying that its not fair God doesn't understand what I'm going through. But God sent his son to earth

The High Priest Who Cried Out in Pain

^14-16Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let's not let it slip through our fingers. We don't have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He's been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let's walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help. (Hebrews 4:15)

The people Sports Relief will help are desperately in need of financial aid. If we don't have God in our life we are desperately in need of his mercy - Jesus was tried in every way but did not sin, if we ask for help he will give us a strength that we can rely on.
